Position Description
As a Software Engineer for Software Integration Test automation you will be part of the Platform Team at Cinemo. You will work closely with other Software Engineers and DevOps engineers to ensure a smooth operation of automated integration tests and to continuously improve and extend these.
Responsibilities
- Monitor test execution and first level analysis of test failures
- Ensure that the tests are well-documented and properly structured
- Introduce new test types (e.g. fuzzing tests) or improve existing test types (e.g. regression tests)
- Coordinate integration testing-related initiatives
- Communicate with related stakeholders in Development, DevOps, QE
Experience & Skills
- Strong sense of quality, responsibility and structure
- Solid understanding of multimedia technologies and formats (e.g. codecs, container-formats)
- Work experience with Jenkins and ability to at least review Groovy-scripts
- Ability to coordinate team- and department-spanning quality-activities
- Ability to quickly pinpoint trouble-sources from possibly complex test result artifacts
- Ability to understand the big architectural picture, and correlate it with the testing activities.
- Experience with C/C++ and (Unit) Testing frameworks (preferably gtest)
- Python scripting skills
