Position Description
As a Senior C++ Software Engineer at Cinemo, you will be part of our embedded development core team. Together with your other team members, you will improve and maintain components for Media Management and respective functionalities within Cinemo. Media Management allows for a flexible and fast access to previously indexed content of a variety of different connected devices or storage media.
Responsibilities
- Extend and enhance the functionality according to customer- or internal requests
- Improve maintainability and testability
- Create Unit- and Integration-tests
- Analyze and resolve customer issue reports
Experience & Skills
- Strong experience (5+ years) in C++ >=11
- Working with and improving existing medium/large codebases
- Unit- and Integration testing (using e.g. gtest)
- Multithreaded development and debugging
- SQL and in-memory databases (sqlite)
- Experience with at least a subset of device- and server protocols such as MTP, iAP/iAP2, UPnP, HTTP
- Experience with multimedia-formats and -containers
- Cross-platform development (Android, Linux, QNX, iOS)
- Good communication skills
- Proactive drive and enthusiasm for the subject
