Position Description
As a (Senior) C++ Software Engineer – Cloud at Cinemo, you will be part of our embedded and backend development core team. Together with your other highly qualified and motivated team members, you will work on our optimized multi-platform connected media player focusing on embedded devices and a unified access to cloud content from various content providers ensuring high software quality and revolutionary features.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features
- Maintain a language binding library between C++ and JavaScript
- Produce high quality code to maintain and defend the company leadership position
- Maintain and improve existing software solutions
- Test and ensure high software quality
- Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
Experience & Skills
- Strong experience (5+ years) in C++ >=11
- Experience with JavaScript
- Experience with network protocols and APIs such as HTTPS, gRPC and REST
- Cross-platform development (Android, Linux, QNX, iOS)
- Unit- and Integration testing (using e.g. GTest)
- Development and debugging of multithreaded code
- Proactive drive and enthusiasm for the subject
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
