Position Description
As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you will support our development and DevOps teams to develop and maintain our SaaS products securely. In this role, you will be part of the Security Team and work closely with our other engineering teams in Budapest and in Germany.
Responsibilities
• Perform threat analysis and risk assessments for embedded software components
• Provide support regarding security in the whole software development lifecycle
• Moderate sessions with engineering teams to align about identified risks and agree on countermeasures
• Analyze and implement customer requirements regarding security
• Monitor and track the progress of resulting activities, identifying and proactively addressing issues or bottlenecks
• Keep yourself up to date about security threats and solutions known in the industry
Experience & Skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field
• Proven experience in embedded software security analysis (TARA, vulnerabilities analysis, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and security methodologies
• True team player, communicative and collaborative, striving to achieve the best solution for all
• Ideally experience with automotive systems and related standards like ISO 21434 and ASPICE
• Experience in ensuring the security of web applications, mobile applications and cloud components is a plus
• Proficiency in English
