Position Description
At Cinemo, we highly rely on modern practices including DevOps, IaS and a scalable resource model. We are seeking for a skilled infrastructure developer with coding capabilities and understanding of modern DevOps methods. Our ideal candidate has extensive skills in modern software and hardware, Linux operating systems and has coding capabilities in modern scripting or compliable languages as well. We also require an understanding of containerization principles and Infrastructure-as-code methodology. As a member of our IT DevOps team, you will have an immediate impact to extend our growing infrastructure and services landscape.
Responsibilities
- Extend infrastructure based on k8s and container-based deployments and services
- Develop infrastructure and DevOps pipelines, scripts and workflows
- Enable fast and transparent CI and CD for our development teams
- Support development teams for best practices and maximum effort from existing and new pipelines and deployments
- Monitoring and alerting for critical components
- Research and evaluate new technologies and tooling
- Monitor and support existing pipelines and related internal services
- Support and train our internal customers with proper workflows and practices according to DevOps methodology
- Implement new features, tools and conceptions
Experience & Skills
- 5 years’ experience in IT
- Significant experience with containerization practices (Docker) and running services in Kubernetes-based environments
- Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tooling
- Excellent know how in the field of the most common Linux distributions as well as technologies
- Development skills (Python, Golang, C/C++, Java or similar)
- Experience with at least one configuration management tool (Salt, Ansible, Puppet or similar)
